Since yesterday, I cannot play any of my EA games because the EA Desktop App cannot download or open them. Reproduction steps (option 1): Open EA Desktop App. Go to Library tab.

For the past few days, when I try to load my games on the EA app, the library just won't load. The EA app is stuck on some sort of buffering screen, saying "Things are taking a little longer than usual to load up. Hang tight while we try to solve the problem."

I've just been using Origin until I was forced to switch to the EA app. Sims 4 played just fine since the switch, until now when it's having problems loading the Library. Thanks for your reply though :). As for Microsoft udating, haven't gotten any windows update notices this weekend.

I've tried clearing the app cache, which closes the app and then nothing else happens. Then I tried to uninstall the app multiple times and got an error. Try to launch the game from the desktop? Opens the EA app instead.

CLOSE/EXIT the EA APP once you see your library isn't loading. OPEN TASK MANAGER on PC. SEARCH the list of BACKGROUND PROCESSES and look for EA BACKGROUND SERVICE - End that task.
